The use of Chinese Herbal Medicine dates back thousands of years. Used properly, herbal materials pose no threat of addiction or side effects. You can take them over long periods of time if needed.

Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, reduce, stress; and to promote health and wellness.

You can ask your therapist for either Swedish massage with oil or Shiatsu massage without oil which is often called acupuncture without needles.

Welcome to Five Element Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine

We are proud to offer SaAm Five Element (SAFE) Acupuncture and TCM Education for you to expand your practice and qualify for the upcoming regulation in Ontario.

Our goal is to provide a concentrated, focused education in a smaller class setting which ensures that you will have plenty of personal attention. The programs are comprised of unique intensive courses with flexible schedules (evening and weekend classes). All courses include in-class hours, assignments, and case studies.

Five Element Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (FEITCM) is a federally and provincially registered college. Our programs are approved by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as continued education units (CEU), and other recognized professional bodies.

Five Element Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association of Canada (FEACMA) offers the designation Certified Five Element Acupuncturist to graduates of the Five Element Acupuncture Certificate Program. The designation is also recognized by many major insurance companies for payments to Acupuncture Providers.
